December Teacher of the Month: Dana Culberson
December Teacher of the Month: Dana Culberson
Each month, Marshall ISD celebrates the outstanding contributions of our faculty at our campuses to the overall educational experience of our students. These professionals work countless extra hours at home, on weekends, and over holiday breaks with one focus in mind -- to make MISD and their campus Marshall Proud and Maverick Strong for our students.
The Teacher of the Month for December 2017 at Washington Early Childhood Center, as selected by Principal, Mrs. Detriece Fisher, is Dana Culberson, Pre-Kindergarten teacher.
"Mrs. Dana Culberson has been an educator at WECC since 2001," said Mrs. Fisher. "She loves working with this age group because students absorb all the necessary knowledge to have a strong educational foundation. She is very creative and makes learning fun and engaging for her students. Her recent endeavors include writing and publishing children books.
